As they padded through the forest, Bird started complaining to be picked up. "We need to put these kits down and pick up the other two." she mewed to her mate. "Don't worry my little dear." she soothed her kit.

Leaf looked at the kit and set the one he was carrying down.

Mud blushed slightly and purred again.

"Well the kits like you." she mewed pointedly, as Twisterkit and Stormkit scrambled all over Mudslide. She sighed. "I really wonder who their mom was." she meowed wistfully.
