Thunderpaw sighed and walked away fromt he kits.

Whitebreeze saw them coming back up the hill to the nursery and noticed that Mountainkit looked frightened, "What is it girl? The hair on your back is on end and your eyes keep darting around, you seem scared." Mountainkit mumbled that she had saw a fox but she didn't know what to do. "Oh poor sister you must be terrified, now I understand why we frightened you so. We're sorry." Shatterkit said to her as Goldkit purred soft soothing sounds to her baby sister.

     Mountainkit laid down to sleep, ready for another nightmare of foxes.  Soon she woke, her sister and brother still asleep along side her mother.  Mountainkit got up and walked to the edge of the nursery and smelled the air trying to release the smells of foxes from her dream only to realize her nightmares were becoming true.  "MOMMY!"  Mountainkit screeched. 

     Her mother and brother and sister shot up along with Stormclaw and Rainstar.  Rainstar pounced on to the fox as Stormclaw went for the hind leg.  The fox yelped as Rainstar bit into the fox's scruff.  Lightbreeze sheltered the kits in the nursery.  The fox slung Rainstar across the clearing.  As the fox fled in terror Stormclaw noticed Rainstar wasn't moving. 

     Silverforest raced across the clearing only to see her leader was losing a life.

Thunderpawruns out, laying next to Rainstar.
Silverforest rushes out, "Everyone get out of the way!"

"Will Rainstar be okay Mommy?!"  The kits squeaked.
"She is going to be okay."  Lightbreeze whispered softly to her kits, then put them back into the nursery.

Silvrforest looks at Thuderpaw, "Help me carry her to her den." The two she-cats carry Raimstar to her den. Silverforest starts to make a poultice for her wounds. Thunderpaw lays near Rainstar.
Snowleaf sighed and shakes her head, "Eaglefeather, I need you to go trsce down that fox."
He nods and disappears.

Grasspelt watches from a distacne smiling. He walks back to camp, shaking his pelt.

Rainstar was losing a life she woke in Starclan, knowing she was losing a life she rested while her body healed the deadly wounds.

Stormclaw offered to help track down the fox then raced out of camp.

"How did Mountainkit smell the fox?"  Lilystream asked Blackmoon.

Eaglefeather raced next to Stormclaw, "Goign to murder this fox..."
Thunderpaw licks Rainstar head, washing away the blood and licking it until is is silky soft. Silverforest smiled at the appretince, "You and her are like best friends huh?"
Thunderpaw blushes, "Nah, She is my mentor. I have to look after her."
Snowleaf laughes.

Soon Rainstar opened her eyes and looked at her apprentice and Silverforest.
"I will do anything to protect my kits!"  Stormclaw growled.

Thunderpaw loked at Rainstar, "You ok?"
Snowleaf titls her head, "Did Starclan say anything?"
Silverforest sighes and growls, "No question!"

Rainstar looked back at Thunderpaw, "I'll be okay, I Just need some rest."

Thunderpaw nodded and pad out of the den only to return with a rabbit. She drops it at Rainstar's paws, "Eat some up."
Snowleaf growled, "Thunderpaw, leave her alone, she needs to rest!"
Eaglfeather seees the fox adn lunges at it.

"Thanks Thunderpaw."  Rainstar said as she began to eat the rabbit.

Stormclaw slashed at the fox's muzzle.

Eaglefeather bites the leg.
Thunderpaw nods and darts out of the den and into the woods. She pads near the border of Darknessclan, not realzing where she is at because of deep thought.
Snowleaf shakes her head, "Did starclan say anyhting to you?"
Silverforest gives her poppy seeds before leaving t check on Mountainkit. She pads over to the nurest, "Moutainkit, Are you ok?"

Grasspelt is on patrol with Rowanpaw and Redclaw. They spot Thunderpaw and watched her.
