Arashka/Arashka needs friends and maybe something more. (Open to all! :D)

Arashka wandered around the barren plains. She had been stuck out here for days, the snow freezing her pawpads and cracking them, often making them bleed. The snow always set upon this land. She had no pack, no friends.. no nothing. Nothing at all. Apart from herself and her shadow. She was a gorgeous grey wolf, with long fluffy fur and a lithe structure. She had sparkling green eyes, which were always shadowed with thoughts. She was well-kept, and she was a great hunter and she had a huge amount of power in her jaws, and also in her legs which allowed her to run quickly and quietly. She had a thick, fluffy tail which was always either wagging or twitching. She padded along, her ears flickering, pacing back and forth as she searched the barren land.

Novak was padding along the snowy ground, trailing a rabbit he had seen earlier that day. He was a solidly built very pale grey wolf, blending in almost perfectly with the landscape. The only thing that stood out was his bright amber eyes. He lifted his head, scenting the air. Was that..another wolf? He tilted his head curiously. I don't remember the last time I've seen another wolf out here... He thought curiously. Forgetting the rabbit, he trotted towards the scent.

Arashka continued pacing before she twitched her ears and lifted her head, scenting another wolf. Was there really another creature like herself out here in his cold, abandoned land? She flicked her ears and continued pacing, and flickering his tail as little snowflakes began to fall from the cold, cloudy grey sky.

Novak paused when he grew near her. He glanced her over, then looked at the track she had worn in the snow from her pacing. He tilted his head. "Er...what are you doing?"

Arashka's tail twitched as she tilted her head. Another wolf came into view. She perked her ears. She had never seen another wolf alongside herself before. She was nervous, and her eyes scanned Novak. They flickered with fear for a split moment, and then she shook her head.
"Oh.. nothing much." She sighed, and continued pacing, but wearily and slowly this time.

Novak's ear flicked. She seemed a bit odd to him. "Alright.. You might want to try to find shelter soon, it looks like a storm is coming. Trust me, you don't want to be caught in it."

Arashka perked her ears and looked toward the sky.
"Hmm.. good point. In fact, I know a den near here. It's been unclaimed, so I guess I'll have it for the time being. If you want, you can come too. Just follow me." She twitched her tail and began trotting away, snow flicking everywhere. It was on clumps on the back of her legs, feet, stomach and tailtip.

He blinked in suprise. In truth, he had his own den, but he was just to curious not to find out a little more about this wolf. "My name's Novak."

Arashka turned around.
"Novak's a lovely name. I've never heard that before. My name's Arashka." She twitched her ears.

He shrugged, smiling. "Novak is nothing special. Just my dad's name. Arashka is pretty cool though."

Arashka twitched her ears and continued trotting away to the den. Her gaze flickered back.
"It's your Dad's name? Well, I think it's wonderful. And thank you." She smiled as her gaze flickered back.

He trotted to catch up, then kept pace with her. "Thanks. No offense or anything, but what are you doing here? This isn't exactly prime wolf territory, and I haven't seen you around before."

Arashka's eyes flashed with regret and then she looked at Novak.
"I... Uhm.. I.. How can  explain this..." She mumbled to herself. She shook her pelt and straightened up before beginning to trot again. "I've been here since I was a pup, mainly. I've never really hung out here before. I thought I'd explore. I mean, I never really had any family because there was a war between two packs and my mother took me someplace safe and hid me. The last things I heard were her screams and howls of terror and pain, and I couldn't do much apart from wait till they had gone, and when I came from the den.. She was dead. Blood-smothered and her fur was torn and she was covered in wounds.." She then stopped and placed a paw over her mouth. "I'm ever so sorry.. I've got to stop blabbering on about stuff.." She sighed.

Novak looked sympathetic and concerned. "Hey, its alright. I don't mind. Sometimes it helps to talk about it. I mean, I understand if you don't want to. But it doesn't bother me. My mother abandoned me and my dad to go with a new mate. Dad could hardly take care of me at all, and was killed by a grizzly."

She perked her ears and shuddered at Novak's story.
"For one thing, your mother leaving you and your father is terrible. But then your Dad not even bothering with you and then getting killed by a grizzly? That's awful.." She sighed. Her eyes glimmered with sympathy. She looked forwards, still trotting, to notice that the little rocky den was in sight. It wasn't too big, but big enough to fit at least four wolves and four pups.
