Nightwing strolled across the camp towards Spark, her tail held high. "Good morning Spark." She nodded to him politely.

Cali runs underneath Spark and back to Larka, launching herself onto her mother excitedly.

Larka huffs and falls on her side, then smiles and nuzzles Cali gently.

Nightwing howled to call the pack together. "I want Spark and Aria to go out and hunt for the pack. If you spot any herds, come back and get the rest of us. Is that clear?"

Spark nodded his head towards Nightwing and Larka in greeting. He bent down and barked a greeting to the pup. He crouched down playfully.

Aria dipped her head towards Nightwing. She got up and walked past Spark toward the entrance. Spark bounded over to her. "I'm the beta male, Aria. I think that I should lead." he barked playfully.

Cali looks up at spark, still draped across her mother, then she runs over and crouches playfully, her whole bottome wiggling as she wags her tail.

Larka smiles at Spark.

"No Im not sure where he is, but I want you and Spark on a hunting patrol." she told Aria.

Nightwing ran over to the hunting patrol. "I think I'll come with you. It's a beautiful day. And spark, I think I'LL lead."

She smiled at Spark before leading the hunting patrol into the forest.

Spark grinned at Nightwing.
Aria followed behind Nightwing, serious now.

Nightwing spotted a deer fawn not far away. "Spark and Aria, I want you to flank the deer and I'll come down the middle and finish it. Okay?"

Cali goes back to her mothers side and lays beside her, closing her eyes.

They nodded. The two wolve ran over silently to the deer and attacked from both sides. They dug their claws into its flanks.

Nightwing sped at the deer at break-neck speed, then pounced and delivered a swift kill bite to its throat. She howled with triumph.
