Ken jumped up from his sleep and looked up at Valentina, "wh- oh... right" he looked around, "I'm still dreaming..." he flopped back down on the floor, pulling the blankets up to his face, "wake me up when it's over"

Valentina smiled "Good, let's go" She said and walked to a carriage that was awaiting them, she got in. "How is school you're majesty?" the driver asked "It is good, thank you"

Ken followed in, glancing outside, then at the driver, "your majesty?" he asked in curiousity, glancing at Valentia.

Valentina nodded "Actually, I'm the princess of this whole country" She responded as the carriage pulled away, after a few minutes they stopped in front of the palace

Ken nodded, smiling, "I see" he gazed at the palace in awe, this place is so cool!

Valentina sighed and got out, she walked up to the palace door,

 her mother opened it and ushered her in "Go and get ready for the ball immediatly!" She barked,

Valentina ran upstairs and got ready

"You, who are you?" Her mother asked Ken

"I'm Ken" he said, looking around, "so if you're Valentina's mother..." he looked at her, "that must mean you're the queen?"

She nodded, "Go to the ball room, a party is being held, you may eat and drink as much as you like" She said

Valentina put on her hat and sighed, looking in the mirror

Ken blinked, then smiled, "thanks!" he dipped his head to the queen and rushed off to the ball room.

Ic: A loud voice boomed in the ball room. "Ladies and gentlemen, Now presenting Princess valentina!" Valentina walked in, past a lot of aristocrats who asked her to dance and went straight over to Ken

Before Valentina arrived, Ken seemed rather lost in the crowd. He looked around cluelessly and caught sight of someone, he seems nice, maybe I can go talk to him? he walked forward to the boy who was talking with someone else, "um excuse me?" he tapped on the boy's shoulder, "but do you ha-"

The boy only took one glance at him before almost choking on his drink. He coughed a bit as he put down his glass, clearly surprised. He cleared his throat and looked nervously at Ken, "s-sorry about that" he said in a hoarse voice from coughing.

Ken blinked, not getting the boy's surprise but smiled, "I'm Ken, and you are?" holding out his hand.

"Flynn" the boy said, shaking Ken's hand, "Flynn Conners"

Then the voice announced Valentina's arrival and Ken turned to Valentina, smiling widely, "you look wonderful!"
