Aprentice- warrior question

My apprentice character's mentor in Bloodclan seems to have went inactive... Is it ok if I just assume that my character finished training and is now a warrior?

That'd be fine, but you wouldn't be able to get the badge for mentoring an apprentice to a warrior. :)
