His fiery eyes flickered momentarily with a controlled rage at the thought of the fools learning the skills of a Ranger, but then his stoic appearance returned, and his expression was back to it's dark, foreboding features.

"Dating?" he meowed with a questionable mew. He rather go do something else like go on a patrol or go talk with someone than go dating. Everlastingpaw wasn't a ladies man and defiantly wasn't good at being romantic. The white serval really didn't know anyone execpt for Kitchenkit and was rather Suprised she hadn't shown up for the meeting yet.

Oh, Lostgale. An ever-present source of amusement in the clan with his uncaring and grumpy air of dignity. Witchinghour was half tempted to suggest that he might be offended by training because he was getting on in the years, but the black tom much prefered his pelt to remain unruffled.
Instead he opted for a slightly less antagonistic, though joking, approach, "What? So you won't date me and you won't beat me up either? This just proves that no one likes me enough to even maim me."
The black tom gave a sulky pout and pretended to be disconcerned with the whole matter.

Starlingkit stuck his tongue out at the idea, almost feeling disappointed.
"I ain't datin'! What about us kits?" He spoke up in his gruff, cute lil' kit voice. "I thought it would actually be some fun n' games!"

Eclipsebone trotted back into camp, holding a squirrel in her mouth.  The whole Clan seemed to be muttering about while Mottledstar waited on the Rolling Stones.  She raced into camp and dropped her catch on the pile before padding into the throng to sit near Ryuk and Lostgale.  "What's going on?" she asked nobody in particular.

Mottledstar watched the unethusiastic cats with a relaxed eye. "Relax lostgale," She tried to mewed above the disagreements and arguements. "This is not compulsary for those who are not interested in socializing, but those who are, I reckon you take a delve into the luxurious socializing," She looked at the kittens, even the newest additions. "You guys can chat in a group, it doesn't have to be the dating your thinking of, it can be a friendly chat," The tortie announced. Then looked at Ryuk, obviously he was looking forward to it.

Wolfskies blinked at Mottledstar's twist to Chainreaction's idea. She hadn't had any experience with mates, nor was she very interested in getting any. The she-cat wasn't necissarily that kind of cat - per-say. She preferred a more solitary life, as it was the only thing she was used to. Shuffling her paws in a sort of out-of-place feeling, the black tabby avoided glancing at any of her clanmates in fear of showing that she wanted to take part in such an activity. "Are there.. Any other options out there for having hard core fun?" She inquired after a moment, head tilted as she gazed at the leader.

Eclipsebone suppressed a snicker.  "A dating game?  Guess I'll play along.  All in the spirit of fun, right?"  She honestly didn't care all that much for finding a mate, but who knows?  While talking with cats, she might just get lucky.


Rowanheart glanced around, absorbing cats' reactions to the announcement.  A small smile crept up on his face.  It would certainly help cats get to know each other better, even under the guise of dating.  The brown tabby glanced back at his wound, hoping it wouldn't provide too much trouble during the event.

"Good idea sis I'm in," she mewed loudly, her eyes sparkling towards her sister Mottledstar.

Neverendingpaw, who had been watching curiously from among the crowd, giggled giddily. "Dating? That sounds like so much fun!" she exclaimed, waving her lilac tail excitedly. She could see it now, a handsome tom like Rockingroller asking her out on a little date. Her heart sank at the mentioning of his name on her head, as she remembered he had gone home to WindClan. Oh well, there were other toms. There had to be.

The dark chuckle of a ivory white she-cat came from the back of the group. " Dating?" She simply repeated what others where saying. Besides, why would anyone want to date a cat like her? Her last mate had been a complete physcopath, since then, no tom had ever even looked at her. Black, lighting-like stripes stripes contrasted against her pelt and flashy blue eyes looked up at Mottledstar.

Chainreaction's eyes shined in pride as she tried her best to contain that overwhelming feeling. The calico looked around at her clanmates mewed about her idea. Being the feline with the big ego around here, the former windclanner swished her long tail in joy. Yipeeee~!

All he personally knew was Kitchenkit for he basically only knew she was a medicine cat apprentice and that her name was Kitchenkit.

Neverendingpaw watched the cats of the crowd, looking for other cats who liked the idea. She found some, but along with them came some disapproving glares as well. She bit her lip, trying to think of something that would keep everyone busy. "How about a contest?" she called out, poking her head above the other cats as far as she could without falling over. "A contest to see who can catch the most prey. Just for cats who didn't want to do the dating though...Because I want to participate in that still." she added.

Uh oh, time to scadaddle! Xanthus attempted to roll away from the group as quietly as possible. Xanthus was an armadillo and definitely didn't date cats.

Halfway through his roll to freedom, the armadillo changed his mind and flattened out again. He turned around and quickly scurried back over to the group of cats. "What about us who aren't cats?" he asked no one in paticular.
