River light dipped a paw into the cold river water of her territory she flicked it and in one swift motion killed the large carp that she had caught. She scented something off on another territory...

A ThunderClan warrior with brown tabby fur and a stub of a tail padded along the tree-line, watching the river calmly with green eyes. He parted his jaws and caught scent of a crow. The ThunderClan tabby dropped to a skilled hunter's crouch as soon as he spotted the large black bird. He placed his paws carefully as he stalked it, powerful shoulders rippling under his fur when he pounced and landed squarely on the crown, cutting off it's harsh cry before it could utter it by clamping his strong jaws down on it's head and throat.

Riverlight lifted her head from the river as she heard something in the brush on Thunderclans side. He pupils contracted scared if it was a dog or something. She hissed out of fear, and made her paws move to Stepping stones. Her icy blue eyes shining with determination to find out what this was.

The ThunderClan warrior picked the crow up in his jaws, and padded out of the trees burying in the earth before tasting the air, his form fully shown by the sunlight.

She lightly stepped onto the closest stone. Gently she made her way across the path. Her forelegs trembled with fear she forced them to push on. Riverlight lowered her head and sniffed for any clue, and all she scented was Thunder clan border marks.

The ThunderClan tabby sniffed the ground, following the fresh tracks of a water vole that lead towards the river. As he tracked, Poplarside's stubbed tail flicked side to side and his ears where pricked forwards.

She stepped a smidge closer to the edge of the territory. All she could smell was Thunderclan scent markings. She wrinkled her nose and twitched her whiskers in disgust of the smell. River light felt a little sorry for them because they've had to live in the forest and they haven't even tasted a mouth ful of fish. She sighed at the thought and went back to looking for the cause of why she even crossed the river.

The ThunderClan warrior padded closer towards the stepping stones, his form fully in view. In the sunlight, his muscular frame was easily seen, and his stubbed tail twitched side to side when he raised his head, confused at the water vole scent's disappearance.

She looked to her side and found farther down, a Thunderclan warrior she let her tail drop and she pricked her ears and crouched down she sprang back up. Riverlight pounced.

The ThunderClan warrior stopped scenting the air as soon as he heard the scuff of paws against the ground, as if pushed against the ground. With a growl, the brown tabby tom whirled around in time to see the RiverClan warrior leaping at him. Flattening his ears and baring sharp white teeth, he slid out his claws on his right paw and swiped at the cat's cheek, a swiftly aimed blow with talon-sharp claws.
