Because saying "I love you"
A wide smile was spread across Ruscello's muzzle as he padded alongside the River, satisfied with his work. His first real day of being a full RiverClan member was drawling to an end as the moon rose slowly up to the top of the sky. He had managed to talk to all of the kits, apprentices, and warriors he had saw that day, even if it had just been a quick "hello." But, just as he knew he had accomplish his goal of the day by making some new friends, he also knew he would not be able to sleep much that night. It was just so exciting, being in a new clan. That was why he was even out walking around the territory at that hour. How could he be expected to sleep? And besides, if he was going to be awake, he might as well do something productive like learning his new territory.
As he walked continued along, he saw a strange, glowing light in the distance. And, as soon as he saw the light, the smoke from it began to fill his maw, causing him to let out a small cough. Dammit, it had to be twolegs. Well, he wasn't going to let them destroy his new clan, hell no!
Unleashing his claws, he quickened his pace into a dash, running up the burning fire. But, when he retched his destination, a sight he had not expected came into view. There was a large pile of various food choices, fish and animials, and a single cat sitting in the middle of it all, looking quite happy. Narrowing his green eyes slightly in confusion, he let his claws slide back into their sockets, padding up to Darkdescent.
"What is all of this?" he asked him.
